Today was a great day. The sun was out for good. There were finally no clouds to cover it. After Nyla’s nap we decided to hang out in the backyard instead of going out. I took out my picnic mat, watermelon, goldfish, sunblock, the camera and Nyla’s sippy cup. Nyla started off playing in the sandbox for a while. I just snapped away. She was in a total zone. She loved it. Pouring the sand all over herself. At one point trying to taste it which she thought was funny. We lounged out there for a good while. Snacked on some juicy watermelon. She loved pulling the grass.

We were starting to get hot so I thought I would fill her pool up to cool down. I got her swimsuit on and she got excited to see her pool filling up. It was a pretty awesome day.
