Wow, we have had 3 sunny days in a row in winter here in Oregon. It has been really nice. Me and Nyla have been out on all of them. You gotta take advantage of non rainy days here. We headed over to Bauman Farm for some fun with the kiddies (Me, Nyla, Kesha, Cohen, Isla, Jess, and Emma). Saturday was the guy’s poker night so the girls got together and hung out with the little girls. It was so much fun. Kesha made some amazing tacos and we just hung out and enjoyed watching all the girls play.

I feel so incredibly blessed to have met our new friends Kesha and Vin. They are amazing people and their friends are also amazing. I first did wonder why God brought us to Oregon. I just knew he had a plan. Read the rest of this entry »

Nyla Breeze started her Gymboree classes two saturdays ago and she loves it. She loves to see all the other kids and play with all the toys. Its that dreadful winter time in Oregon and it definitely takes a toll on me. I know this is something some of my Oregon friends probably don’t want to hear about. It’s so hard to be going through something that you know they don’t understand and have no one to talk to about it. I just have to try and suck it up put on a fake happy face and try to harbor in all these emotions.

Me and Josh grew up in beautiful sunny southern California for 23 years. I lived in the same city since I can remember. I had an awesome childhood with always fun and exciting adventures. Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Sea World, Raging Waters and plenty more. It was always a state that you had tons of pool parties cause almost every house had a pool. I just remember always being in the pool with friends and eating popsicles while bathing in the sunshine. Going out with flip flops, shorts and sunglasses. Happy New Year!!! It’s 2010!! We started New Year’s Eve just relaxing around the house. Then around 5pm we headed off to the Thomas’ House for their annual “Wing in the New Year” party with Kesha’s famous buffalo wings.
