We went in today for another ultrasound. We had her second trimester ultrasound 2 months ago when we found out her gender. We were lucky enough to have our gender ultrasound pretty early on, but there were a couple things they couldnt see the first time that they wanted to check. I finally after almost a year got my name changed over to Hemsley. With the move from California to Oregon it requires a little more work to get your name changed over. The worst was having to take the written dmv test. Josh had to take it also to get an Oregon drivers license. We both failed at our first attempt. There are alot of different driving rules that we didnt have in California. We did our first attempt in October, then we kinda put it off cause we just hate going to the dmv. I am now 6 months pregnant and coming to an end in my second trimester. The second trimester has definitely been really nice compared to the first.

Not bad at all, I have been sleeping really well

We received Nyla’s bedding a couple weeks ago. It took me a while to decide on which bedding I wanted. I ended up back to my first original pick from Glenna Jean. Their bedding line is very elegant, and I wanted her room to be a Girly elegant feel that was also contemporary for Josh. I originally wanted to do a shabby chic look but Josh was not up for that. We have been spacing out all the stuff we need to buy for Nyla Breeze. Baby’s are quit expensive. We are not planning on having a baby shower till after the baby is born cause our family is in California so we thought we would just plan a baby shower after she is born so close family can see her. On January 30th 08′ we finally got to see my sister in law (Josh’s sister) and our neice Charlie Rain. We haven’t seen them since our wedding which was 9 months ago. Little Charlie has grown so much and we were not there to see it all. Josh went and picked them up from the Portland Airport on friday morning while I finished cleaning the house. We got Nyla’s new stroller a couple weeks ago. I found it online, I originally wanted a different Bumbleride stroller. It was the bigger pram buggy style stroller. Its huge, but Josh wanted a 3 wheel sporty stroller since we will both push it around. I first didnt want the 3 wheel jogger stroller but i knew if we did get one it would be from Bumbleride. I am at 5 months and a week (21 weeks) and she has been a crazy kicker. Around january 19 (19 weeks) is when her kicks were noticeable and Josh was able to feel her kick for the first time. Since last week january 26 (20 weeks) she has been kicking through out the day. I feel it all over so im guessing she is using both her feet and hands. Read the rest of this entry »
